Split over two stations, students will work in small groups on the following activities:

• Station A: Students will design and build an aerodynamic rocket and launch pad. They will put their rockets to the test with the most successful rocket launch earning a prize!

• Station B: Students will design a thermal protection system for a rocket. They will then test their designs and critically evaluate them so that they can improve features of their designs so that they work more efficiently.
