Connected with the “World Around Us” area of learning, pupils will spend the morning on the historic hill of Armagh. They will enjoy interactive,
cross-curricular tours of Armagh Robinson Library (Northern Ireland’s oldest library), No. 5 Vicars Hill (a small museum with artefacts relating to Early Peoples and other topics), St Patrick’s Church of Ireland Cathedral and Crypt. They will get to view the collections housed by these buildings and be able handle old science books and other treasures, before having the opportunity to construct a model of one of the buildings using K’NEX, in a STEM workshop with Sentinus.
