“Engineering: The Future” is an exciting interactive event for schools demonstrating how engineering will change the lives of everyone for
the better. Students will learn how engineering can be used to provide clean drinking water for marginalised communities in developing countries and detect if water is safe to drink. They will learn how health technologies and biomedical engineering can change and even save lives;
How composites engineering can make transport more sustainable; How nanomaterials can be used to make fuel cells for energy or convert carbon dioxide to fuels using solar energy; or used to clean water or remove pollutants from the atmosphere; or used for targeted drug delivery.

For booking and information on transport subsidies for your school group please contact Gillian Gregg (g.gregg@ulster.ac.uk).
