The world has changed since the Geological Survey of
Northern Ireland was established in 1947; climate-change and the need for its
mitigation and adaption combined with the increasing demands for low carbon
energy, raw materials and water presents a series of challenges and
opportunities for GSNI.
To help meet these, GSNI is developing a new Science
Strategy that will help us to augment, adapt and focus our current work
programme and work towards a shared vision that will benefit every citizen of
Northern Ireland.
Come and have your say in GSNI’s future direction and learn
more about the vast array of science and research activities that we undertake
through a series of nano-talks and hands-on activities.
