Cyanotype Blueprints

Sunday 16 February, 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm

Suitability: All Ages

£3

This workshop will utilise analogue technologies and the process of cyanotype to create a unique blueprint of the walled city. The cyanotype process was first introduced by astronomer John Herschel in 1842 as means of reproduction.
Source material will be collated in advance from maps and existing photographs, printed on acetate and available to create unique collages. The goal is to experiment with this imagery in order to create unique negatives that can be subsequently printed as a photographic record.
