Visitors From Space: Meet the Meteorites

Saturday 15 February, 11:00 am - 1:00 pm

Suitability: 10 Yrs+

Free. Drop in

Fly me to the Moon, or you could just take a bus! From pieces of the Moon and Mars, to a chunk of an iron meteorite that created the vast Meteor Crater in Arizona, to pieces of another meteorite that exploded over the Russian city of Chelyabinsk on this day in 2013. This is a chance to see and touch a selection of rare objects, which have travelled further and are far older than anything else you will have ever encountered!
