With a focus on A-Level Nutrition & Food Science and Life & Health Science, this event aims to highlight the precautionary measures taken by food manufacturers to secure the supply of safe food through the food chain and to the consumer. You will learn about food safety controls, prevention of microbial and chemical contamination and aseptic measurement techniques used in food microbiology. This exciting and interactive workshop will give pupils a flavour of what it’s like to be a food scientist.
