At a Death Cafe, people get together to talk about death, over a cup of tea and cake. The purpose is to start those difficult conversations about death, ageing and dying in order to help people get on with making the most of their (finite) lives. A Death Cafe is a group directed discussion of death with no agenda, objectives or themes.
This is not a bereavement support group and may not be appropriate for those who have recently lost a loved one.
