For fifty years, space exploration has been limited to national or international space agencies and has focused on exploration to benefit humankind. In the future, the space sector will see increased involvement from private sector organisations and nations with limited space heritage. While this will increase access to space and its benefits, it may present challenges. Join our panel of OU experts who will discuss the advantages and disadvantages of space to society and the challenges that lie ahead regarding the laws that govern the use of space.
