If dark personality traits are socially toxic, why are they on the rise? Focusing on narcissism as the ‘bridge’ of personality and a resilience factor, Dr. Kostas Papageorgiou of Queen’s University, Belfast will present new findings to suggest dark personalities such as Machiavellianism, Narcissism, Psychopathy and Sadism are neither bad nor good; they are adaptive or maladaptive depending on the context.
