Formula 1 racing represents the pinnacle of engineering excellence. In 2020, Formula 1 teams will compete in 22 events across 5 continents all driven by the ultimate goal of being crowned world champions. In the quest for the most elusive performance differentiators, Aerodynamic science represents one of the fiercest battlegrounds. This talk will delve into the importance of Aerodynamics and the influential roles played by state-of the-art experimental and computational technologies in producing world-beating racing cars.
