Suitability: 6 Yrs +

Free. Drop In.

Lackan Bog, Co. Down, is the remnants of a much larger bog complex that developed over the course of more than 10,000 years. Throughout this time, the bog trapped a wide range of plant and animal remains which were partially preserved within the peat. This exhibition will show the types of information that can be obtained from bogs such as Lackan to help us understand how the environment and human activity have changed through time.
