The trouble with lichens is that most people barely know they exist, yet they colour many aspects of our world. Literally. From adding splashes of colour and a sense of age to ancient trees and tombstones; they are also homes or food for many animals and they tell us much about the state of the environment. Come along to have your eyes opened to the amazing world of lichens around you.
