Suitability: 14 Yrs +

Free.

Despite the existence of gender equality initiatives, progress towards gender equality in science has been painfully slow. Our research aims to accelerate this progress through the use of virtual reality to promote greater support and engagement for these initiatives. Step into our virtual environment to learn how gender inequality negatively impacts women pursuing scientific careers by seeing the world through their eyes while taking part in a scientific research conference. After a demonstration of this virtual reality experience, a brief discussion will follow.
